Pokey LaFarge Announces Bluesfest Sideshows

It’s the announcement local blues and roots have probably been waiting for; Pokey LaFarge has revealed he’s embarking on a five-date tour to accompany his appearance at Byron Bay Bluesfest.

Following his successful headline debut in Australia earlier this year, LaFarge will be bringing his six-piece band to Australia’s south coast in April 2015. He’s also set to release his second album early next year through renowned roots label Rounder Records, a follow up to his self-titled debut released through Third Man Records in 2013.

While out here for Bluesfest and his headline shows, LaFarge will also play Boogie 9, alongside Justin Townes Earle, Tony Joe White and more.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday 11 December.
