While the ARIA Awards impact comes into play for Chet Faker and Sheppard
Aussie rock luminaries AC/DC have landed another homegrown number one, with the band's latest LP Rock Or Bust pushing pop singer Taylor Swift out of the top spot.
Rock Or Bust bumped Swift's world-dominating 1989 down to second spot, with the upcoming festive season impact coming into play, with crooner Michael Buble's Christmas moving into third. Brits Ed Sheeran (x) and One Direction (Four) sit nicely at four and five respectively.
The next handful of spots came from locals artists, with Human Nature pushing into sixth place with Jukebox, while current urban hit-makers Justice Crew debut at seven with their latest collection Live By The Words. Twin duo The Veronicas stayed in the ten with their self-titled LP landing at eight.
Recent ARIA Award winner Chet Faker enjoyed some impressive chart movement this week. His new iTunes Session collection debuted at 18, while his 2014 studio album Built On Glass came in at 19.

Sheeran also continued to stay around the top spectrum of the local charts — his track Thinking Out Loud stayed strong at three. Aussie hip hop crew Hilltop Hoods were another act to hold onto to their previous chart position — Cosby Sweater remained at four.
Faker also saw the effects of his ARIA wins in the Singles Chart, with his track Talk Is Cheap jumping from 70 to 31. Brisbane indie-pop troupe Sheppard, who won Best Group at last week's awards, moved up from 43 to 33 with Geronimo.
