Watch Fat Mike Get Hit In The Face With A Shoe

It seems NOFX frontman Fat Mike, aka Mike Burkett, isn’t having much luck on the band’s Australian tour, with a punter throwing a bottle at his head mid-set in Perth over the weekend, pushing the punk icon near breaking point.

The assaulted stage invader incident in Sydney has now been followed up by a bottle and shoe being hurled at Burkett’s head at Perth’s Metro City.

“Somebody fucking kick him in the fucking head. I can’t do it because I’ll fucking make TMZ again,” Burkett said, pointing out the bottle thrower before removing his bass and approaching the front of the stage.

“Throw his arse out – fuck him. Take his pants off, shove something up his arse, and throw him out,” guitarist Eric Melvin said.

“I’ll sell the footage to TMZ myself,” guitarist Aaron Abeyta, aka El Hefe, added.

Crew members then settled Burkett down, which is when a shoe was pelted at his face. He returned to the microphone and continued the gig, but not before cutting crowd favourite Stickin’ In My Eye.

“We were about to play that, but we’re not going to play that anymore. I was having the best fucking time tonight of the whole tour. This was my favourite fucking show and you have to throw a fucking bottle at my face, or whatever the fuck hit me,” Burkett said.

The rest of the set went on without a hitch, and the band re-added Stickin’ In My Eye to the mix as the night came to an end.
