AC/DC Speak Out On Phil Rudd's Criminal Charges

AC/DC have commented on drummer Phil Rudd's criminal charges that surfaced yesterday, saying it will not affect the band's new album or impending tour plans.

In a short statement posted on their official Facebook, the band said:

"We've only become aware of Phil's arrest as the news was breaking. We have no further comment. Phil’s absence will not affect the release of our new album Rock or Bust and upcoming tour next year."

Rudd faced court yesterday in New Zealand over charges of attempting to procure the murders of two men as well as possession of cannabis and methamphetamines. The drummer enter a no plea to the charges and was released on bail.
