New albums from Machine Head, Mariachi El Bronx, Pink Floyd and more
Machine Head – Bloodstone & Diamonds (Nuclear Blast)
Veteran metal band Machine Head have emerged with their latest offering Bloodstone & Diamonds and it seems like the group are still managing to uphold their invigorating style of the past. According to reviewer Brendan Crabb, "it’s difficult for some to envision Machine Head ever being in anything less than grand form" and as our Album Of The Week, it's definitely worth multiple listens.
Mariachi El Bronx – Mariachi El Bronx III (White Drugs/Cooking Vinyl)
The alter ego of hardcore punk outfit The Bronx have returned once again to bring their third album filled with mariachi music to fans of this Mexican folk genre. The odd duality of this band still manages to amaze while The Music’s Brendan Telford said, "the warm timbre of Caughthran’s vocal delivery always impresses".

Pink Floyd – The Endless River (Sony)
All good things must come to an end and it seems that Pink Floyd is no exception with their latest album The Endless River representing the final part of their successful musical journey. According to reviewer Cameron Cooper, the heavily layered vocals of the final track are "saved by the pure melancholy that resonates in Gilmour’s voice as he says goodbye to Pink Floyd".
Spain – Sargent Place (Dine Alone Records)
These American rockers have been around since 1993 and are back with their fifth full-length studio release. Spain’s latest offering is Sargent Place which picks up almost exactly where the last album left off and you can even try before you buy by going here for the full-length stream.
