More 360 More 360

A Melbourne-based rapper who goes by the name BK Ultra has come forward claiming to be the man behind 3AW host Tom Elliott's "360" trolling yesterday afternoon.

In making the claims to music blog Project UBK Ultra described himself as a "battle rapper, troll and degenerate" and explained that, as a (disenchanted) journalism graduate, "After reading Tom Elliott's article about 360 and hearing that the same 'journalist' interviewed someone who he claimed was an ISIS fighter without doing sufficient research, I felt I should volunteer as tribute and make an example of him."

BK Ultra also made reference to his apparent role in embarrassing Elliott on-air on his Facebook wall, posting yesterday, just after the interview aired, "So I may or may not have just had an interview on 3AW with Tom Elliot [sic] posing as 360," and following it up a few hours later: "I think 360 and I almost broke the internet today #trollolol". He also referenced the hoax on his Twitter feed.

In case you missed it, 360 called out Elliott yesterday after hearing the journalist was to air a "live interview" with the rapper over his recent appearance on Q&A, despite 360 not actually being involved in the chat. Hilarity and absurdity ensued.

Watch BK Ultra get his rap battle on against veteran rhymesmith Greeley - at this stage, it's the least you could do for him given the value he brought to the web yesterday.
