Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it
The finalists for this year's Stagebound competition — which will see the winning band play a set at the forthcoming Southbound festival in Western Australia — have been announced, and theMusic.com.au is throwing its weight behind ultra-excellent Perth-bred indie outfit Tired Lion.
The band has had a corker of a year, kicking off 2014 in style with support slots for the likes of Gyroscope and Papa vs Pretty before hitting the road for a national tour in March in support of debut EP All We Didn't Know (2013).
They made it to Singapore by May, and took part in the Music Matters Live conference alongside Dune Rats, Jeremy Neale, The Love Junkies and more. They even rubbed shoulders with pretty-rock poster boys The 1975 at their sold-out Splendour sideshow back in July. Amidst it all, they've been hard at work putting together their sophomore extended player with Dave Parkin, of Emperors.
Get amongst some of the band's truly excellent work below, and know you're making the right call with your vote.
