'Kitty, Daisy & Lewis The Third' will hit stores in January
British-born sibling trio Kitty, Daisy & Lewis — the siblings Durham — have announced their return to the spotlight with the impending release of their highly anticipated third studio full-length, aptly titled Kitty, Daisy & Lewis The Third.
Coming almost four years since their sophomore effort, Smoking In Heaven, ...The Third is a collection of new work created by the band in a converted, rundown Indian restaurant in Camden Town, produced by the legendary Mick Jones, of The Clash. Recorded and finished over a handful of months this year, the album will enjoy Australian release on Friday, January 30, via Sunday Best/Shock.
To celebrate the album's announcement and impending release, the band have unveiled brand new single Baby Bye Bye, and, if you get in quick with the video below, you can be one of the first couple thousand people in the world to hear it online, so hit play and beat the Brits to the honour.
In the flesh, the band is rounded out by the siblings' parents — mother and former Raincoats drummer Ingrid Weiss plays bass, father Graeme ("Daddy Grazz") handles rhythm guitar — and Jamaican brass-playin' boffin Eddie "Tan Tan" Thornton. Still, with no scheduled shows in the antipodes (at the moment), it's nice to know the recorded version, and the stripped-back roster, still nonetheless shines so brightly.
