The hip-hop veteran will take to the Woolly Mammoth's Mane Stage at the end of the week
Renowned US rapper Mos Def, now attempting to be known as Yasiin Bey (although we keep calling him Mos Def...), has been announced as a surprise headline act for an intimate show at new Brisbane venue the Woolly Mammoth at the end of the week.
Currently in the country for the Soulfest touring festival, Mos Def Yasiin Bey will take to the Woolly Mammoth's Mane Stage on Friday, October 24, for an intimate show in front of 400 people. There are literally only 400 tickets available, so act quick to ensure your spot before everyone else has the same idea and beats you to it.
Yasiin Bey will be supported by Dirty Mob, Kaylah Truth (featuring Swilo), Ezra James and DJ Blaze; tickets will set you back a casual $40+bf and are purchasable via Oztix, availability notwithstanding.
If you miss out on tickets to the solo Mos Def show on Friday, perhaps the news of Soulfest's official after-party hitting the Woolly Mammoth on Saturday, October 25, will lift your spirits a little bit.
