November's conference takes its final form

Melbourne's forthcoming Face The Music conference, held during Melbourne Music Week, has announced five more international names to join its already expansive list of industry speakers this November, as well as adding a slew of local names in its third-round reveal of guests.

The freshly included international contingent consists of worldly booker/promoter/manager/talent scout Ayisha Jaffer, of Saiko Management; Marshall Betts, from Jaffer's former playground the Windish Agency; Planetary Group's Adam Lewis; and two 'In Conversation' sessions, one with renowned Detroit-bred techno outfit Underground Resistance, and another with Tangerine Dream frontman Edgar Froese.

The newly sourced global cabal will join new Aussie inclusions such as Hiatus Kaiyote's Nai Palm, Wagons' Henry Wagons, manager Wally "Meanie" Kempton, Oscar + Martin's Oscar Key Sung, solo artist Kirin J Callinan, Music Rights Australia's Vanessa Hutley and many more, who themselves join previously announced speakers such as ex-BBC Radio 1 presenter Jen Long, Gossling, Pikelet, and The Panics' Drew Wootton.

Face The Music takes place Friday, November 14 to Saturday, November 15, at the Arts Centre, Melbourne. Tickets are available now. See the Gig Guide or check The Music App for more information.
