Abbe May, triple j’s Nick Findlay, WA legend Phil Stevens among the talent pool

With the first details of this year’s festival dropping last month, WAM Festival has added another 17 speakers to the conference aspect of the bill, with triple j’s Nick Findlay, Perth rocker Abbe May and other booking agency, label and artist talent being unveiled.

The second announcement brings the total speakers to 46, who will provide expertise on their respective fields at panels at Central Institute Of Technology’s Perth Campus, Friday 7 and Saturday 8 November, adding to RTRFM’s Adam Christou, Red Rock Music’s Bel Skinner, Esti Zilber of Sounds Australia, Warner Music’s Heath Bradbury, BIGSOUND mastermind Nick O’Byrne and more.

Triple j assistant music director Nick Findlay will be available for one-on-on song pitching sessions to those with WAM Conference passes, with other speakers able to offer advice and tips to punters.

Earlybird tickets to the 2014 WAM Festival go on sale via Moshtix on Friday 10 October, and get delegates priority entry to free events and access all ticketed events. Judging by the talent now on offer, most panels, shows and parties are set to pack out.
