Prince's Facebook Q&A Was Incredibly Disappointing

They see me trollin', they hatin'

More Prince More Prince

Enduring pop icon Prince has left fans baffled and feeling possibly just a little bit trolled after an official Facebook page set up in his name appeared late on Tuesday (AEST).

As Death & Taxes notes, the page was at least partially created for Prince to promote his forthcoming dual album release, and, to that end, Prince (or Prince's rep) made a post early yesterday (AEST) to advertise an exclusive question-and-answer session with The Purple One himself.

Prince's fanbase responded rapturously, generating close to 4000 responses in just a few hours.

And then Prince didn't show up.

Or, at least, Prince didn't show up for ages. And, when he did finally address his fans, he took the singular form of "question and answer" way too literally, only taking the time to answer one, super-technical, question about converting music to 432Hz, which is something maybe sixty people on the planet care about. To his credit, though, at least he was definitive in his answer.

And... that was it. Prince disappeared into the night, leaving literally thousands of more interesting questions completely untouched and everyone just a little more educated about the benefits of hertz conversion. Thanks, Prince!
