More SBTRKT More SBTRKT

Veteran British muso/suspected wizard SBTRKT has announced a pair of sideshows to accompany his forthcoming appearance at the year-end Falls Festival.

The antipodean appearances will come fresh on the heels of a comprehensive run of shows across the United States and Europe, and in addition to the new headline appearances – at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on January 7, and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on the 8th – SBTRKT (aka Aaron Jerome) will also be swinging past stages at Sydney’s new year’s party Field Day and Western Australia’s Southbound festival.

SBTRKT today releases his second studio full-length, Wonder Where We Land, which comes about three-or-so years since 2011’s breakthrough self-titled debut and features reworks and collaborations with internationally renowned artists such as Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Caroline Polachek, Koreless, and A$AP Ferg, among others such as Atlanta’s Raury, who features in fresh single Higher. Get amongst it below.

With the album set to have been out a few months by the time he lands in Australia fresh from his northern-hemisphere jaunts, we can expect a highly polished performance from the world-renowned prodigy, showcasing all his fresh new tricks as well as revisiting some old favourites for good measure.
