AH-AHH-AHHHHHHHH!

More Portugal. The Man More Portugal. The Man

Alaskan indie workhorses Portugal. The Man have long had something of an ongoing bromance with the cast members of FXX comedy It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, having not only put out a pretty great sketch with them last year (Eternal High-Five), but regularly slipping into their live performances their rendition of the show's famed Day Man song.

If you weren't at Splendour In The Grass last year, and you've otherwise never seen them pull it off live, check out this excellent-quality recording the band's cover of Day Man at a recent gig at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. It's a sweeping, synth-drenched aural epic that bleeds into the start of 2011's So American, driven by John Gourley's inimitable vocals, and it turns Charlie Day's little ditty into a legitimate contender as a gig-making swayfest every time.
