The ladies lead the pack this week
Two Aussie female acts look set to claim the top local debuts in this week's ARIA Charts.
On the album front, singer-songwriter Missy Higgins is on track to land in the top five with her new collection of covers Oz. And pop sister duo The Veronicas are pushing for a top two finish with their new single You Ruin Me, their first release since 2012's Lolita.
Time will tell if Higgins can knock The Madden Brothers from the number one position, though that's looking more likely, at this stage, to come from veteran entertainer Barbara Streisand and her album Partners. British indie outfit Alt-J should also place in the five with their second full-length This Is All Yours - their first release since becoming a trio.
Other debuts to look out for are: Chris Brown's X, The Script's No Sound Without Silence, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga's Cheek To Cheek, Tim McGraw's Sundown Heaven Town, Pentatonix's PTX, Vol 3, Aphex Twin's Syro and Lenny Kravitz's Strut.

Movement up the Albums Chart should come from music superstar Justin Timberlake thanks to his current Aussie tour - both his records from 2013 - The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience - 2 Of 2 - should jump back into the top 40.
The Veronicas aside, we can also expect former Rugby League player, turned recording artist (yep) Beau Ryan to feature in the top 15 through his song with fellow Aussies Justice Crew, Where You From?.
Other debuts are expected from German duo Milky Chance and their breakout hit Stolen Dance and Alesso's anthem Heroes (We Could Be). Ed Sheeran (Thinking Out Loud) and The Script (Superheroes) should also move back up the charts this week.
