83 arrests were made
83 drug-related arrests were made at the hard-style dance event DefQon.1 this past weekend.
It's alleged that police conducted 372 person searches, with 83 drug detections made at the event, held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre on Saturday 20 September.
Seven of the arrests were alleged to to be over supplying offences, with one said to have had 250 pills of MDMA in their possession.
Approximately 350 punters, of the 19,500 crowd, were treated for drug-related and heat-related illnesses, with seven taken to hospital.

Last year's event was marred by the death of one festival-goer, Victorian James Munro. There were also a similar amount of arrests made last year, with 87.
