The ascendant Sydneysiders will roll through five states and a territory this November and December

Sugar-sweet Sydney-bred upstarts Little May have announced that they’ll be capping off a breakthrough 2014 with an extensive run of shows around the country this November, in celebration of their forthcoming debut self-titled EP.

Having already tucked away high-profile appearances at esteemed events such as Splendour In The Grass, Laneway, BIGSOUND, and completing a successful support stint for touring pop troubadour Mikhael Paskalev, Little May will kick off their national tour with a trio of shows in support of world-renowned stringsmith Rodriguez, when he hits Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden on November 6, 7 and 9 this year.

From there, the three-piece (plus touring drummer Catriona Hunter and bassist/keyboardist Mark Harding) step truly into the spotlight, steering their sojourn through the states as they welcome special guests Winterbourne to the fold as they hit Wollongong’s Rad Bar on November 16 before rolling through Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney (twice – joined by I Know Leopard for the second show), McLaren Vale’s Gorgeous Music Festival and the Sunshine Coast, before they bring festivities to a close at Brisbane’s Black Bear Lodge on Saturday, December 6.

Before any of that, though, Little May’s self-titled debut EP – which is currently available for preorder – will be hitting physical and digital stores on Friday, October 10, via Dew Process/Universal. We’ve already had a couple of earlier previews of what to expect in the form of Hide and Boardwalks, and the generous girls have followed up those efforts with the recently released clip for new single Dust.
