'No Sleep Till Mansfield' takes the red-hot Mansfield natives all around the country from this November

More Violent Soho More Violent Soho

The Queensland-bred, Mark Hoppus-approved Violent Soho have announced that they will be capping off their utterly giant 2014 with a national tour of similarly gargantuan proportions this November and December.

The No Sleep Til Mansfield tour, proudly presented by The Music, sees the breakaway act tackle 23 shows over the two months, starting at the top of the nation with a performance at Darwin's Discovery on Wednesday, November 5. Queensland, Tasmania, New South Wales, Western and South Australia, Victoria and even the ACT get a look-in on the ferocious four-piece's comprehensive jaunt around the country — including two shows at their original local, the Mansfield Tavern — so no matter where you're placed in this wide, sunburnt land, Soho are doing their best to bring the madness as close to your doorstep as humanly possible.

It's not just empty praise to say Violent Soho have had a massive year — since the release of their third LP Hungry Ghost just over 12 months ago, and its top-ten performance on the ARIA album charts, the band have been on a musical warpath, collecting festival-spot scalps with frightening regularity — Falls, Big Day Out, Groovin The Moo, Splendour In The Grass, the triple j One Night Stand — and selling out a previous 14-date national tour. The album itself has just achieved certified Gold status, signifying sales in excess of 35,000 units.

They consequently cleaned up the AIR Awards nominations, inked international deals with renowned US label SideOneDummy and its Canadian peer, Dine Alone, and found themselves in the top 15 on this year's Hottest 100 for the wildly popular Covered In Chrome.

Tickets for Violent Soho's No Sleep Til Mansfield tour go on sale at 9am (local time) on Tuesday, September 23, via the band's website. Given the trajectory they're on, and the sorts of crowds they've been playing to recently, you'll want to get in early to secure your chance to end your year on as rambunctious a note as you can.
