The Antlers Announce Special Sydney Show

Brooklyn-based indie-rock luminaries The Antlers have revealed that they'll be making the long-ass trip Down Under for a special, solitary Sydney show early next year.

The band previously graced our shores as far back as 2011, when they were here as part of the St Jerome's Laneway Festival line-up, and have since returned to undertake shows in Melbourne and Sydney in headline appearances, so while they mightn't be complete greenhorns when it comes to Aussie audiences, the infrequency of performance makes this forthcoming show at the Oxford Art Factory on Friday, February 13 (ooooh, spooky), a rare and remarkable affair indeed.

Having recently dropped their fifth studio full-length, Familiars, the band are currently riding a wave of acclaim in the wake of its release to tour around the States non-stop, with a European sojourn lined up for October/November to boot, putting them in a prime position to hit the ground running when they take on the New South Welsh capital come February.
