More Jack Ladder More Jack Ladder

Sydney-based singer-songwriter Jack Ladder has revealed that he has signed to renowned UK booking agency ATC Live, on the eve of unveiling a selection of new cuts at BIGSOUND this week.

The deal sees him join acts such as The Lumineers, Passenger and fellow Aussies The Griswolds on the roster of acts who enjoy UK and European coverage under ATC Live's extensive umbrella, and arrives hot on the heels of the just-premiered clip for his recent single Come On Back This Way, taken from forthcoming full-length Playmates.

The album will be released via Ladder's own label, Self Portrait, on November 7. Before you can have it in your hands, though, interested parties will be able to catch Ladder at BIGSOUND, when he plays a showcase at the Black Bear Lodge this Thursday, September 11, at 11.30pm.

The new signing won't be the only representative at the conference flying ATC Live's flag — delegates will be able to catch the company's Alex Bruford at two panels during the event — "Why Agents Make The Best A&R" this Wednesday, September 10, at 2pm, and "Touring Europe", the following day, at 3.45pm.
