Seven shows, five mainland state capitals -- this December

Stalwart Brisbane-based prog outfit Dead Letter Circus have announced that they’ll be following up their sold-out Reimagine Acoustic tour with a fresh run of shows around the country this December.

The tour, which also comes hot on the heels of the band’s well-received surprise acoustic EP Stand Apart, takes in seven shows and five mainland state capitals, with room for a couple of regional appearances along the way.

The Lodestar hit-makers will put things into action from Thursday, December 11, when they’ll grace The Gov, in Adelaide, before taking in stages in Perth, Bunbury, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, and wrapping up on Sunday, December 21, at Waves, in Wollongong.

Given the fact they’ve spent so much time recently with instruments unplugged, the upcoming jaunt will no doubt see them enthusiastically return to full-dynamic mode, belting out favourites such as I Am and Insider (from sophomore LP The Catalyst Fire) and other tracks from their not-insignificant back catalogue, while tour-long support acts sleepmakeswaves and Perth’s Voyager will ensure the gamut of goods on offer doesn’t let up from the moment the sounds start.
