The Griswolds Crack Top 20 In US Chart

Sydney indie troupe The Griswolds have cracked the US charts overnight, with their single Beware The Dog landing in the Alternative Songs chart.

The song, off their recently released debut full length Be Impressive, is currently sitting at 19 in the chart, which fellow Aussie Vance Joy is sitting at the top of with his hit Riptide.

Beware The Dog has received a fair bit of love in the states — it was the number one song on the SiriusXM Alt Nation Alt 18 Countdown a few weeks back, scored 16th on the USA Alt Radio Airplay Chart.

The Griswolds' good news continues on what has been a pretty neat showing overseas since Be Impressive (Chugg Music/MGM) dropped late last month — upon its release the record landed at five on the US iTunes Alternative Album Chart, cracked the top 40 iTunes US Overall Album Chart and went top 50 in the Spotify Viral Chart. The album also sat at #15 on the local iTunes Album Chart and went top five on Hype Machine internationally.
