The record will also get an international release
Fuzz—rock collective King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have confirmed the release date and name of their fifth studio album, along with the announcement of a couple of international deals.
The ensemble, known for putting out at least two albums a year in their young and burgeoning career, will drop In Your Mind Fuzz on Friday 31 October through Flightless/Remote Control Records.
The first track off the LP is Cellophane, which premiered overnight on Stereogum — give it a spin now.
Gizzard have sealed two deals overseas that will see In Your Mind Fuzz released in the US, UK and Europe. Castle Face Records, which is owned by Thee Oh Sees frontman John Dwyer, will unveil the album in America, with London-based indie imprint Heavenly Recordings to release it in the UK and Europe. The band were the recipients of the $50,000 Carlton Dry Global Music Grant last year, which has paved the way for the band's impressive inroads overseas.
