Two legends of the Australian music industry are going head-to-head for the number one record on this week’s ARIA Albums Chart.

Chambers’ sales are being boosted from last weekend’s Gympie Music Muster festival while Barnes is on the promo trail this week. Barnes last had a number one with Double Happiness, which entered the chart in 2005, while Chambers’ Rattlin’ Bones with Shane Nicholson was a number one in 2008.

Two other Aussie legends appearing this week are AC/DC’s Phil Rudd, who will likely reach the top 20 with solo record Head Job, and John Williamson, whose Honest People may climb into the top 20 thanks to a Gympie slot.
