The 22-year-old Adelaide troubadour also has a string of dates at which you can get acquainted
Rising South Australian singer-songwriter Timberwolf has become the newest signee with Damian Costin's booking company, 123 Agency, just in time to enjoy a fresh burst of activity as he moves into a series of festival slots and EP launch shows just around the corner.
If you've not yet been exposed to Chris Panousakis, the young modern-folk muso behind the moniker, take one part each Jeff Buckley, '60s/'70s blues-rock and a healthy dose of acoustic-based introspection, and you're getting a decent base idea of the sorts of sounds you'll pick up on his widely acclaimed 2013 debut EP Man & Moon.
Timberwolf is now turning towards the forthcoming release of his follow-up extended player, Flux, which was brought to life with production assistance from Mark Myers (ex-The Middle East), for which he's got a string of shows lined up, including some high-profile festival spots at the Festival Of The Sun, Gorgeous Festival, and a spot on the presitigous AWME roster.

His trajectory should be unsurprising, though — with support scalps on his belt for the likes of Dustin Tebbutt, Holy Holy, Pierce Brothers and Mikhael Paskalev this year alone, with the impending run looking to add reliably rockin' locals BONJAH to that list, plus a co-headline appearance with German twins AMISTAT.
To top off what has already been a huge year, the singer-songwriter has now announced a run of shows, including Festival of The Sun, Gorgeous Festival, and a spot on the coveted AWME lineup. The tour will also see Timberwolf support BONJAH, and co-headline a show with German twins Amistat.
Timberwolf kicks off his Flux preview shows on Friday, September 12, at Byron Bay's The Northern, alongside the Pierce Brothers. He'll pop up for shows in Brisbane, Sydney (twice), and Melbourne (also twice), wrapping up with his big-stage appearances in McLaren Vale (Gorgeous Fest), Port Macquarie (FOTSun).
