The Night Before BIGSOUND Is The Pre-Party You've Been Waiting For

Featuring Ayla, Billy Fox, The Jensens and more!

Annual industry conference and showcase BIGSOUND might have an obscene number of acts lined up for its 2014 event, but The Night Before BIGSOUND — the unofficial pre-party hosted by Brissy-bred music company Mucho Bravado — always tends to make a pretty damn sensational warm-up, and this year looks set to be no different.

Going down on Tuesday, September 9, at Fortitude Valley's Black Bear Lodge, The Night Before BIGSOUND will get your blood pumping and send your voice hoarse for all the cheers the line-up is likely to elicit, this year featuring performances from sugar-voiced solo artist Ayla, Sydney-bred producer Billy Fox, stalwart local five-piece The Jensens, the acclaimed Little Odessa, the similarly adored Tin Sparrow, and ascendant rock quintet WAAX.

DJ sets will come courtesy of Rolls Bayce, Eves, The Furrs and a face-off between Everett True and hirsute hometown hero Edward Guglielmino.

The Night Before BIGSOUND has traditionally been an evening of surprise and spectacle, with previous installations featuring acoustic sets from now-defunct Brisbane vets Hungry Kids Of Hungary, a pre-fame Ball Park Music giving a very early preview of the greatness that was to come their way in ensuing years, a showing from The Kite String Tangle before he was swaddled in (well-deserved, it must be said) hype, plus secret spots from The Basics - yes, that'd be the Gotye-featuring Basics - to current muso du jour Andy Bull.

Tickets for The Night Before BIGSOUND will be pretty heavily limited - understandable given the venue and the fact it's free entry for conference delegates - but if this sounds like a night you cannot miss (and it does, let's be real), then you can have your shot at tickets via Oztix.
