Bad//Dreems Announce Absolutely Everything

Ivy League signees and BIGSOUND-bound buzz act Bad//Dreems have pulled out all the stops with their latest announcement, revealing not only a new single and accompanying video clip, but Australian and US tour dates to back up their forthcoming appearance at the Brisbane-based conference and showcase.

Having most recently won hearts and ears with triple j favourite Dumb Ideas, newest cut My Only Friend capitalises on the momentum the band has garnered of late via their increasing renown for staging live shows that leave audiences pretty well rocked to their core and in danger of partying out entirely.

The track was produced by veteran desk-man Mark Opitz (AC/DC, Cold Chisel, The Angels, INXS), who has previously worked with the Adelaide-bred four-piece and knows them well enough to do a fine job of encapsulating that unrestrained raucous live energy in the recorded form.

Bad//Dreems have only just recently returned from an extensive national tour, as well as a follow-up run of shows supporting The Preatures, but they’re not resting on their laurels for too long — they’ll set out in support of My Only Friend next month, starting with their appearance at BIGSOUND on Wednesday, September 10, and taking in a handful of dates around the nation before they pack their gear and set off to take on the big, bad world of the United States throughout October.
