Fowler’s Live Music Awards Back For A Third Year

Nominations are now open to the public

Adelaide venue Fowler’s Live has announced its awards night will return for a third year, going down at the venue Thursday 13 November.

With Moshtix, MusicSA and Coopers signing on as partners in 2014, The Fowler’s Live Music Awards is comprised of five publicly voted categories and 13 peer-nominated and voted categories, with nominations closing Monday 29 September.

To be eligible for self-nomination, acts must be based in South Australia with a minimum 50% of members residing in the state, be able to demonstrate live and recording activity, and must not be signed to a major label.

Last year Bad//Dreems took out Best Indie Artist, The Beards claimed Best Pop Artist, and Ice On Mercury won Favourite SA Band. 2012 saw Hilltop Hoods (Best Hip-Hop Act), The Audreys (Best Acoustic Act), Coerce (Best Punk Act) and The Killgirls (Best Electronic Act) all take home awards.

Self nominations are now open, and successful applicants approved by this year’s panel will make the shortlist for their respective category.
