More Kimbra More Kimbra

Soulful New Zealand-bred chanteuse Kimbra has been revealed as the new face of the National Asthma Council and Asthma Australia’s Asthma: Take Control campaign, which kicks off on Tuesday, September 2.

The Good Intent and 90s Music performer has suffered with asthma since childhood, making her appointment as the campaign’s official ambassador one close to her heart. She’ll be in Melbourne on September 2 for the program’s launch event, to be held in Federation Square in Melbourne, to help shine a spotlight on asthma education and awareness, and the importance of taking medication as advised by health professionals.

The announcement comes on the precipice of the release of her sophomore album, The Golden Echo, which follows her 2011 debut Vows, is set to hit stores on August 15 in Australia.
