Bill Bailey, Rhys Darby Confirmed For Sydney’s Just For Laughs Festival

The line-up for the Sydney Opera House’s Just For Laughs festival – quickly becoming one of Australia’s top comedy events – has been revealed with talent from around the world.
Bill Bailey of QI and Blackbooks fame is joined by Flight Of The Conchords’ Rhys Darby, narrative comedian Trevor Noah and the Grammy-nominated Jim Gaffigan in today’s announcement.
2014 will be the festival’s fourth year in Australia and is one of the world’s best known comedy brands since forming in 1983 and establishing flagship events in Montreal and Toronto.
Today Foxtel also confirmed that they Just For Laughs Sydney television show will return and be hosted again by Dave Thornton.

“This year’s Just For Laughs Sydney season two has expanded to ten episodes,” confirmed Foxtel’s General Manager of Entertainment Brendon Moo, “which will again showcase some of the best comedians from one of the world’s most iconic locations, the Sydney Opera House.”
The festival runs from Tuesday 14 to Sunday 19 October, with dates below and The Music App.
Tickets are on sale Monday 21 July at 9am.
