"Some smart ass decided they didn't like it and reported it to YouTube"

Local hardcore band Scalphunter have had one of their videos removed from YouTube, after the bloodied clip was reported to the social media giant.

The West Australian natives have taken to Facebook to express their frustration over the removal of the video, which depicts a relentless, murderous viligante hunting down his victims in the woods. The band have since re-uploaded it to the site and it remains there at present.

"So you know that bloody clip we released a few weeks back? Well some smart ass decided they didn't like it and reported it to YouTube, who removed it..." the post read.

"So fuck it, we re-uploaded it again and now we need you all to go watch it one more time. Please tell all your mates to watch it too, share this post etc. Let's stick it up the ass of whoever couldn't handle a little bit of Scalphunting!"

We premiered the video on theMusic.com.au last month.

This follows on from another recent YouTube video ban New South Wales duo Little Earthquake - their clip for single Brightside was removed from the site, amid its depiction of a dead fish.
