Acclaimed Aussie musician Nick Cave has announced a national solo tour, which will take place at the end of the year.

The veteran singer-songwriter will play songs from his wide catalogue of music this November and December to fans in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne. Details can be found in theGuide below, with tickets available Thursday 3 July.

The run will also be broken up with a few shows in New Zealand.

His most recent tour of his home country was last year with his Bad Seeds band, on the back of their hugely successful and acclaimed 2013 album Push The Sky Away.

Cave's award-winning 20,000 Days On Earth film recently opened the Sydney Film Festival, after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival earlier in the year.
