The nation's premier boutique dance music festival, Listen Out, is returning for another year and it's making sure it gets things off on the right foot with today's announcement of a whopping line-up for 2014, to be headlined by none other than electro wunderkind Flume.
Over the course of Listen Out's events in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane, the Holdin On superstar – in his only Australian shows this year – will lead a roster of acts that includes the high-profile likes of the hirsute Chet Faker, enigmatic club riser ZHU, LA-based hip-hopper ScHoolboy Q, US rapper YG, South by Southwest buzz act Young Fathers, super-hot Aussie hip-hop artist Ta-ku, fellow incendiary local Tkay Maidza, a live performance from UK legend Four Tet, a DJ showing from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and more yet to be revealed.
Listen Out 2014 starts off at Sydney's Centennial Park on Saturday, September 27, and heads to Ozone Reserve (Perth), the Royal Botanic Gardens (Melbourne) and the Brisbane Showgrounds over the following two weekends.
Tickets will be available for purchase from midday on Thursday, June 19, via the festival's website.

First-release stubs will set you back $99 + booking fee, with the price rising incrementally for releases two ($115+bf) and three ($125+bf).
VIP tickets, which included a dedicated entrance, special area with cocktail bar, extra toilets, a concierge, celebrity ping pong and a sweet Listen Out goodie bag, are up for grabs at $165+bf (online sales only).
