There is a three-way race to the top of the ARIA Albums Charts this week, and Brisbane post-hardcore outfit The Amity Affliction are leading it in midweek figures.

In 2012 Amity defied the odds and debuted at number one with Chasing Ghosts, beating the more favoured The Presets and The xx, and they're in the box seat again with new album Let The Ocean Take Me. Currently triple j's album of the week, it's ahead of Passenger's Whispers and Jack White's Lazaretto which are sitting at two and three respectively at the moment.

The current number one is Coldplay's Ghost Stories, which has rarely been challenged by new releases in its three weeks at number one. This week's releases could see a brand new top three come Saturday, the order will depend on sales from Wednesday through Friday.

Also pushing into the top ten is Lorde's Pure Heroine, which will jump from 32 thanks to a cut-price sale on iTunes.

Other debuts will come from Miranda Lambert's Platinum, First Aid Kit's Stay Gold and Glass Animals' Zaba, which are all looking at top 15 positions whilst Remi's Raw X Infinity is currently hovering around the 30 mark. Hellyeah's Blood For Blood and Lucy Hale's Road Between are further down the rankings.

Another artist to watch is Led Zeppelin – their reissued albums Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin III will push into the top 50's mid-range.

The midweek figures are being kind to Justice Crew again as their track Que Sera – now double platinum – is still number one on the ARIA Singles Chart, with Mr Probz's Waves is chasing it down.

The top debut will come from 360 featuring Gossling's Price Of Fame, which is currently aiming at a top 20 debut. The Madden Brothers' We Are Done is a little way back, slightly ahead of Aussie Sia's Eye Of The Needle while Austin Mahone featuring Pitbull's MMM Yeah rounds out this week's likely debuts.

Existing tracks having strong sales week Sam Smith featuring Mary J. Blige's Stay With Me, The Vamps featuring Demi Lovato's Somebody To You.
