Triple j have relatively tough period
The most engrossing story of 2014's combative radio ratings has taken another turn, with the Sydney FM breakfast radio crown shifting to WSFM's Jonesy & Amanda.
Kylie & Jackie-O's defection from 2DayFM to KIIS 106.5 had generated remarkable figures from the outset, putting KIIS at the top of the FM frequencies and sending their former employers into freefall.
After a strong start to the year for triple j this ratings period – the third of the year under new provider GfK – has proven to be a tough one, with weekday losses posted everywhere but for steady numbers in Sydney and Adelaide.
