But it's not their longest stay at #1 yet

More Peking Duk More Peking Duk

Peking Duk's hit High, featuring Sydney's Nicole Millar on vocals, has clocked up a sixth week at number one in this week's ARIA Club Chart.

It is the Canberra duo's third number one ARIA Club Chart hit and is now the longest running local number on that chart in 2014 (it knocked off the reissue of Madison Avenue's Don't Call Me Baby which had a four-week run at the top). It has also this week tied with UK EDM legend Fatboy Slim's Eat Sleep Rave as the longest running number one overall in the club chart so far this year.

High has already spent 15 weeks in the ARIA Singles Chart where it still remains in the top 20 having peaked at number five.

Peking Duk's current run at the top is still two weeks short of their longest stay at number one - their second Club Chart topper Feels Like stayed in that position for eight weeks last year. Their first number one The Way You Are stayed at the top for four weeks in late 2012.

One more week on top and High will hold the record of the year's longest Club Chart number one in 2014. Its biggest threat to take the record is coming from Bounce Generation, US producer TJR's collab with Italian duo VINAI, which this weekend leapt from 12 to four.

Two other local EDM hits sit between those two tracks: New World Sound & Timmy Trumpet's The Buzz at two and Hook & Sling featuring Karin Park's Tokyo By Night (Axwell Mix) at three.
