Berlin-based ambient electronic composer Nils Frahm has spent the last 12 hours trying to source equipment after key pieces were lost in transport.

After landing in Sydney last night, 31-year-old Frahm discovered that not everything he loaded onto the plane had made it beyond Serbia.

“Just landed in Sydney. Nice. Not so nice: my Juno 60 and my Helpinstill piano pickups got stuck in Belgrade,” he wrote on social media.

“If you know someone in Sydney who has either a Roland Juno 60 or Helpinstill pickups please let us know. Australia deserves a full show. Any help appreciated!”

In the ongoing social media comments Frahm also indicated that he will return to the country for a Melbourne show later this year.

Presented by The Music Vivid LIVE is off to a colourful start with shows and parties from Pixies, St Vincent, indie label RIP Society having already taken place.
