Mildura Hip Hop Duo Win Slot On Triple J's One Night Stand

Among the 90 triple J Unearthed artists based in the Mildura region hoping to land the opening slot at triple J's One Night Stand, it was futuristic hip hop duo WZRDKID that made the cut.

The pairing of Chase Williams and James Cook will perform at the event, which takes place on Saturday 17 May at The Nowingi Place, Hugh King Drive in Mildura, Victoria.

WZRDKID dropped their an eight-track release last year - you can download it here via their Bandcamp.

The festival is a free, all ages, drug & alcohol free event and will be broadcast live on triple J, with the line-up featuring the already announced Illy, RUFUS, Dan Sultan, Violent Soho and The Jungle Giants.
