Janelle Monáe & Kimbra Announce Joint Tour

Psychedelic R&B star Janelle Monáe ad New Zealand's avant-pop darling Kimbra will tour Australia this May, playing sets of their own and joint performances.

The landmark co-headline tour comes after the two met at the Montreux Jazz Festival in July 2013 and bonded over a love of Prince. After jamming at a bar, the idea of a collaborative tour began to form.

Dubbed 'The Golden Electric Tour', the shows will intertwine joint and individual performances.

Tickets on sale 10am Thursday 17 April, with My Live Nation pre-sale 10am Monday 14 April.
