American Punk Producer Signs Management Deal With Unified

American-based record producer and songwriter Will Putney has joined Unified's management roster as the Melbourne-based company bolsters its American presence.

Unified founder Jaddan Commerford is currently based in America guiding the career of Vance Joy and the deal is a joint venture with New York City's Iron Management.

Putney has enjoyed a strong link with Unified, who also manage The Amity Affliction, Illy, Northlane, Remi and Montgomery, by producing albums for Amity and Northlane. He also produced the album for Thy Art Is Murder and picked up three ARIA Award nominations for his efforts last year.

Outside of his Australian ties Putney, who honed his craft under notorious producer Machine, has produced or co-written on over 15 records that have reached the Billboard 200.

This year he will produce records by The Amity Affliction and Thy Art Is Murder as well as Ice T's Body Count and The Acacia Strain.
