Ernest Ellis And Shining Bird Team Up For Shows

New South Wales south coast collective Shining Bird and Sydney's Ernest Ellis are teaming up for a short run of east coast dates to celebrate their latest albums.

Shining Bird hail from Austinmer and released their breezy debut Leisure Coast in September last year, while Ernest Ellis just released his third record Cold Desire earlier this year.

Ellis worked with Shining Bird's Russell Webster so we can see where the idea to link up on tour came from.

To sweeten the deal for Sydney, the bands are planning an extra special show that will include an art exhibition to entertain audiences whilst they play. The musicians have called upon artists to submit  artworks related to the album titles Cold Desire and Leisure Coast and will display them as part of their performances at St Stephen's Church Hall, Newtown.
