Lorde, Lily Allen React To Death Of Peaches Geldof

Peaches Geldof, the daughter of musician and Band Aid founder Bob Geldof, has passed away at age 25.

The UK media personality and TV host was found dead at her home in the English suburb of Kent, according to BBC. Police are said to not be treating her death as suspicious at this stage. Peaches is survived by her two young sons and husband, Thomas Cohen, who was a member of London-based punk-rock band S.C.U.M.

Bob Geldof and his family have released a statement on the tragedy, while numerous tributes have poured in from around the world, particularly from the music industry, for which she was apart of. Peaches regularly DJed during ther late teens and early 20s, playing in the indie DJ duo Trash Pussies.

"She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," Bob said in the statement.

"Writing "was" destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is."

Musicians such as Lorde, Lily Allen and Ellie Goulding have all paid tribute to Peaches through Twitter this morning.

The 25 year-old was the second eldest daughter to Bob Geldof and his wife Paula Yates, who passed away in 2000. Yates was in a relationship with INXS frontman Michael Hutchence when he died in 1997. They had one child together - Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily, whom Bob Geldof now has custody of.
