Jack White Is Not Playing Splendour In The Grass 2014

We don't know who is playing Splendour In The Grass next year, though we've heard all the rumours just like the rest of you. We can definitely be sure though, that 2012 headliner Jack White will not be one of the acts on the 2014 bill as some have predicted.

It would not have been a surprise to see White returning to Splendour; the timing is pretty much perfect with his second solo album Lazaretto due for release just seven weeks before the festival. But he'll be using the time immediately following the release of the record to take his new show around other territories, today announcing a series of US, UK and European dates that will proculde him from appearing at Splendour this year.

In case you were wondering, he'll be in Chicago the day before Splendour starts, Thursday 24 July, and in Pittsburgh on the final day of Splendour, Sunday 27 July.

We're also pretty sure The Beatles, Lady Gaga and KISS will not be playing Splendour, but we're not going to get into that.
