Northlane Confirm Local Supports For Free Your Mind Mini-Festival

Nine acts join the tour

The nine bands that will be opening up the stage for Northlane's Free Your Mind tour can be revealed today.

The Sydney post-hardcore band's mini-festival gave bands the opportunity to share the stage with themselves and tour mates Thy Art Is Murder, Make Them Suffer, Volumes and Veil Of Maya through a band competition that attracted hundreds of entries from around the country.

The band have now selected their winners, and the following acts will have the duty of warming up crowd around the country next month:

Brisbane: Schoenberg Automaton (Thursday 22 May, The Hi-Fi)
Sydney: Polaris (Friday 23 May, Metro Theatre – sold out)
Newcastle: Rivalries (Saturday 24 May, Cambridge Hotel)
Canberra: Reigner (Sunday 25 May, Zierholz @ UC)
Perth: Iconoclast (Wednesday 28 May, Fly By Night – under 18)
Perth: Xenobitic (Thursday 29 May, Capitol – over 18)
Adelaide: Pridelands (Friday 30 May, HQ)
Melbourne: Exposures (Saturday 31 May, The Hi-Fi – over 18)
Melbourne: I, Valiance (Sunday 1 June, The Hi-Fi – under 18)
