Patience Hodgson From The Grates Stars In New Online Series

We haven't heard any new music from The Grates for quite some time, the core duo of John Patterson and Patience Hodgson got married, have opened a new bar/venue in their native Brisbane and are generally up to all sorts of cool shit.

We have just been alerted to some of that cool shit this afternoon with the premiere of the Fancy Free online videos, which Hodgson is one of the stars. Basically, they're simple craft videos that show you how to do cool crafty things, and there will be eight of them released over the next eight weeks. She hosts alongside her friend Rachel Burke, a Brisbane designer and photographer.

The music was written and performed by Patterson and the videos were filmed in the spare bedroom of their house.
