His second solo record is not far off.

More Jack White More Jack White

One of the biggest names in rock music, Jack White, is back with his second solo album this June, today confirming that Lazaretto is to be released through Sony Music on Friday 6 June.

The record comes two years after Blunderbuss, the hugely successful debut solo record that saw White prove that there was plenty of life left in his career following the disbandment of the band that shot him to fame, The White Stripes.

White recently shared the video for an instrumental track from the record called High Ball Stepper, it's got touches of Spaghetti Western goodness as well as the bluesy-tinged garage rock we've come to know him for over so many years.

Unsurprisingly, White is releasing some super weird/cool package for those who get in early – this is the guy who's behind the madly amazing Third Man Records, after all – and you can see what's in his vault over at the Third Man site
