In Hearts Wake Confirm Second Album Release Date

Byron Bay hardcore and metal mash up In Hearts Wake have confirmed the release date of their upcoming second album.

Earthwalker will drop on Friday 2 May through UNFD and is set to leave a pretty unique mark on the world. The guys are passionate about giving back to the community and preserving the earth, so they recently teamed up with carbon solutions and bio-diverse reforestation developer Carbon Neutral for a partnership that will help achieve both those things. A bio-diverse native tree will be planted for each copy of Earthwalker that is pre-ordered via 24Hundred.net.

The first single off the record is Divine and the band were heavily involved in the creation of music video for the track. Vocalist Jake Taylor wrote, produced and filmed the full clip in just 10 days, as well as catching the insects and snakes used the video from his backyard with the help of his family. Guitarist Ben Nairne also helped Taylor collect the flowers that appear in the clip and the entire band put together a special rope pulley to get the gear down that lush looking waterfall - at three in the morning!
