First Artists Revealed For Triple J's One Night Stand

The first names for triple j's 2014 One Night Stand have been revealed this morning, with soulful rock muso Dan Sultan and award-winning rapper Illy confirmed for the event.

The youth broadcaster revealed the pair during this morning's breakfast program, with the rest of the line-up to be finalised throughout the day. This year's gig will take place on Saturday 17 May.

The location of free gig will be announced this Thursday 13 March. Last year's event featured the likes of Flume and The Rubens and was held in Dubbo in April.

UPDATED: Brisbane indie pop-rockers The Jungle Giants have also been revealed for the event, which was confirmed during the Mornings With Gemma program.

2013 rock standouts Violent Soho and dance trio RÜFÜS have also since been confirmed for One Night Stand. There is one more addition to be revealed some time soon - a local Unearthed band.
