More INXS More INXS

After the enormously successful INXS: Never Tear Us Apart miniseries premiered on Channel Seven last night, it appears the people of Australia have reignited their love of the legendary Aussie rock band INXS, with sales figures for their records going through the roof today.

At the time of publication, the band account for 40 percent of the iTunes Top 20 with a staggering eight albums in that service's album charts, including five spots in the top ten.

In number one spot is the 20 track version of their The Very Best compilation; The Very Best actually appears in the chart three times thanks to different packages available to purchase – the two-disc version sits at number six and the three disc version is at number seven.

The band's iconic sixth album, 1987's Kick sits in second spot at this time and their Live At Wembley Stadium '91 album is in fourth spot. Further down the chart, the band's 1982 album Shabooh Shoobah sits at 13, 1984's The Swing is at number 14 and 1985's Listen Like Thieves rounds out the chart in 20th position.

The miniseries was the highest rating show on TV last night, drawing in close to two million viewers.
