New boutique Tasmanian event A Festival Called PANAMA has revealed its final names, with Melbourne duo Big Scary leading the way.

The indie pair have been confirmed along with jangle pop-rockers Twerps, singer-songwriter Ainslie Wills, roots muso Karl S. Williams, Gotye pal Spender, Brisbane artist Tom Cooney and Timothy & Wilderness.

These acts will join the likes of Charles Bradley, Husky, The Frowning Clouds, Saskwatch, Super Wild Horses and more at the festival, which takes place in a secluded valley in Tassie's north east on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 March. The event is presented by The Music.
